AIMF demanded CBI inquiry into " Wakf scam"

Kolkata, Nov 10 (UNI) All India Minority Forum president Idris Ali today demanded to the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Wakf that the CBI should inquire the Wakf scam in the state.

In a release here, he said, " Some political leaders and promoters in collusion with the Wakf Board members are enjoying and destroying Wakf property, " and alleged that the state government and the Wakf Board were not following the directions of the Justice Gitesh Ranjan Bhattacharyya Commission.

Besides a CBI inquiry, he demanded that all the disposed Wakf property should be recovered and stringent punishment against the culprits.
