'Ace' Amanjyot lifts Sunfeast Junior Golf title

Kolkata, Nov 10 (UNI) Amanjyot Singh carded a superb hole-in-one on the second hole of the day which subsequently sealed the category 'A' title in his favour in the final round of the Sunfeast Eastern India Junior/Sub Junior Golf Championship here today.

While the winner carded a final round 69 for a total of 275, Rashid Khan tallied 278 to finish second after returning 73 today.

In Category 'B' Chikka Rangappa carded a wire-to-wire win at 295 courtesy a final round 76, while Raghav Bhandari finished second at 303.

In category 'C' Viraat Badhwar shot 71 to win with an aggregate of 299, while Ashbeer Saini finished second eight strokes behind.

In the junior-most category 'D', Honey Baisoya shot a final round 80 to win by a whopping 14-stroke margin. Baisoya carded 238 in three completed rounds.
