400 weightlifters in AP championship

Vijayawada, Nov 10 (UNI) About 400 weightlifters will participate in the Andhra Pradesh state weightlifting championship to be held here from November 14 to 16.

Lifters, including some internationals, from 20 districts would participate in the championship to be held at the Indoor Stadium here, District Sports Authoriity Chairman (DSA) K Nageswara Rao told reporters today.

Fourth sub-junior (boys and girls), 31st junior boys, 21st junior girls and women and 51st senior men championships would be conducted by Andhra Pradesh Weightlifting Association, he said.
