Warm day for caital
New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) Despite the mercury dipping further by a degree under the influence of western disturbances, the national capital today witnessed another warm day.
While the maximum temerature was recorded at 30.6 degrees Celsius a degree above normal, the minimum was 16.7 degrees C, four degrees above normal, the Meteorological department said.
The weatherman has forecast shallow fog in the morning and mainly clear sky over the next 24 hours in the capital. The minimum is expected to rise to 17 degrees Celsius.
Under the influence of western disturbances over north Pakistan and adjoining region, scattered rain and snowfall activity is likely to commence over Jammu and Kashmir from tomorrow.
The met department said it is likely to continue during the next 48 hours and also extend into Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal.
Isolated rain and thundershowers are also likely over adjoining plains of north India on November 10 and 11.
