Twenty-seven fishermen held by Pak Maritime Security
Porbandar, Nov 9 (UNI) As many as 27 fishermen were apprehended by personnel of the Pakistani Maritime Security in the Arabian Sea.
Gujarat Fishermen's Association secretary Manish Lodhari today said the fishermen were sailing in the high seas yesterday when they were picked up by the Pakistani Maritime Security men. Their boats have also been impounded by them.
Of the five, three vessels were from Porbandar, while two were from Mangrol. The Association has urged the government to request the requirements for their immediate release, he added.
