TRAI's public hearing to be affected by sealing drive
New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) today said its scheduled public hearings would be disrupted if the relief sought from the affidavit filed by it is not granted.
TRAI has filed an affidavit for consideration by the Monitoring Committee on sealing implementation after the office was shifted following the sealing of their original office last evening the first and only government building to be sealed by the Muncipal Corporation.
The Regulator is now functioning from its annex premises at Trikoot-1 Building, second floor, Bhikaji Cama Place just 200 meters away from its earlier office at Safdurjung Enclave.

TRAI, has filed an affidavit for consideration by the Monitoring Committee on sealing implementation. The affidavit has sought temporary relief so that normal functioning of TRAI can be restored.
The telecom regulator has already scheduled public hearing which are likely to be disrupted if the relief is not granted, TRAI said.
