Rains likely at AP

Pune, Nov 9 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur at a few places in Orissa, Telangana, Rayalaseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Uttaranchal, Himachal Praesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Chattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, north interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar.

Mainly dry weather will prevail in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Lakshadweep and at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Rain or thundershowes have also occurred at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Orissa, and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Uttaranchal, west Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa and interior Karnataka.

Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, west Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and in some parts of Marathwada and were above normal in Vidarbha and Rayalaseema.

They were normal over the rest of the country.
