Poll code comes into effect for Bobbili LS seat

Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 9 (UNI) District Collector V N Vishnu today said the model code of conduct had come into force in five mandals in the district following the Election Commission announcement for byelections to the Bobbili LS seat two days ago.

The seat had fallen vacant following the death of Telugu Desam MP, N Pydithalli Naidu. The byelection is scheduled to be held on December 4.

The five mandal of A Laveru, Etcherla, Ranastalam, Ponduru and G Sigadam fall under Etcherla and Cheepurupalli assembly segments of Bobbili Lok Sabha constituency.
