Police constable arrested for double murder

Davengere, Nov 9 (UNI) The Davengere police have arrested a police constable in connection with a double murderd case here today.

Police said police constable Hanumanthappa of Karnataka Reserve Police Eighth Battlion stationed at Shimoga had allegedly killed his own brother Thimmashetty (60) and his wife Indiramma (55) last month for domestic reasons.

The sources said the constable was taken into police custody for further investigations after producng him in the court.
