Patil condemns Aussie players' behaviour

Mumbai, Nov 9 (UNI) Maharashtra deputy chief minister R R Patil today expressed his displeasure over the unsavoury behaviour of Australian cricket captain Ricky Ponting and Damien Martyn with Board of Control for Cricket in India president Sharad Pawar during the Champions Trophy awards function.

The television clippings clearly showed that the behaviour of the Australian players was improper, Mr Patil said while talking to reporters here today.

Mr Patil belongs to the Nationalist Congress Party which is headed by Mr Pawar.
