Patil briefs Cabinet on sealing drive in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 9: Home Minister Shivraj Patil today briefed the Union Cabinet on the ongoing sealing of illegal shops in Delhi on the directive of the Supreme Court.

Talking to reporters, Finance Minister P Chidamabram said Mr Patil apprised the Cabinet on the issue towards the end of the meeting.

The Cabinet, however, did not discuss any proposal to convene an all party meeting to discuss the situation arising from the drive, resumed yesterday, he said.
