MKRF cadre nabbed in Manipur

Imphal, Nov 9 (UNI) A cadre of Manipur Komrem Revolutionary Front (MKRF), which was floated about a week ago, has been arrested, Imphal West Superintendent of Police Clay Khongsai said here today.

Mr Khongsai said the cadre was nabbed during operations in the past few days in Imphal. He was identified as MKRF ''Finance Secretary''.

Frisking was still on to nab more militants.

He further said a MKRF and ''Finance Secretary's'' seal, demand letters, blank receipts and about 20 tablets of Spasmo Proxibion (SP) were seized from his possession.

The man was allegedly addicted to drugs, the SP said.

Mr Khongsai said police recently came to know that Manipur Komrem Revolutionary Front (MKRF) was formed recently and according to intelligence reports the outfit was planning to extort money from the people.
