Lucrative internship for six IIM-K students

Kozhikode, Nov 9 (UNI) Six students of the Indian School of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K) has bagged highest summer internship from Yahoo! at a whopping domestic stipend of Rs 45,000 per month.

They were Aditya Vikram Jain, Bina Venugopalan, Harish Sasidhar, Samay Narendra, Deepika Raikwar and Sanjy Jolly, who got the offer at a summer internship recruitment drive conducted at the campus here on November 1, the IIM-K said in a release here today.

The two months' programme would start in April, it said.

Apart from them, all the 185 students of the 2008 batch also got offers from 63 different corporate houses from India and abroad at different package.

The other firms, which offered the highest package were PwC, Cognizant and Standard Charteredm Bank.

Multinations like Olam International, Dubai-bsed Al Aqili Group, Pittsburg-based Calance Corporation, Emirates Bank International and US Technology recruited students of the IIM-K for their summer internship programmes at their offices abroad, the release added.
