Low pressure persists

Visakhapatnam, Nov 9 (UNI) A trough of low pressure over West Central Bay of Bengal off coastal Andhra Pradesh still persisted today.

A spokesman of the cyclone warning centre told UNI here with yesterday prevailing condictions, rain or thundershowers were likely at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hrs.

Isolated heavy rains were also likely at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period.

The chief amount of rainfall recorded in (CM) during the last 24 hrs were Visakhapatnam 12, Saluru 4, Machilipatnam and Vizag Airport 3 cm each and Repalli one.
