Hearing against Shahabuddin cases resumed
Siwan, Nov 9 (UNI) A special court today framed charges against controversial RJD MP Md Shahabuddin in a case relating to a scuffle he had with a DSP at an examination centre in 2001.
The charges were framed by first class Judicial Magistrate V V Gupta.
The court, which was constituted inside the Siwan Jail for the trial of criminal cases against the MP, also framed charges yesterday against the MP in connection with theft of electricity.
Additional Advocate General and Special Public Prosecutor R B Mahto told mediapersons that Sheetal Paswan, informant in an abduction case related to the kidnapping of Chote Lal Gupta, deposited before the Additional District and Session Judge Gyaneshwar Prasad Srivastava.
The MP was shifted to the Siwan Jail after being treated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
