Gluttony leads to death for youth

Mysore, Nov 9 (UNI) A high school student committed suicide by jumping into Lakshmanthirtha river as his mother had failed to prepare his favourite non-vegetarian dish at Hunsur in the district, last evening.

Police said today that Ramalingeshwar (15), an SSLC student at Hunsur, returned home from school and was upset that his mother had not prepared any non-vegetarian dish. In a fit of rage, he left the house and jumped into the river.

The body was recovered this morning.
