Four killed, four injured in lorry-van collission

Malappuram, Nov 9 (UNI) Four people were killed and four others seriously injured when the van in which they were travelling collided with a cement laden lorry at Panangakara here today.

According to police sources the deseased were identified as Katteri, Manoharan, Sekhar and van driver Bhai, all hailing from Tirupatur in Tamil Nadu.

The mishap occurred when the victims were on their way to Kozhikode from Tirupatur to locate a girl, who was missing from Tirupatur, the sources added.

The injured were admitted to hospital in Perinthalmana.
