Five eminent personalities inducted into MindTree Board

Bangalore, Nov 9 (UNI) MindTree Consulting, an international IT and R and D services company, today inducted five eminent and illustrious personalities to strengthen its Board of Directors.

Former Chief Vigilance Officer N Vittal, Motor Industries Company Ltd Managing Director and Robert Bosch India Ltd Chairman Dr Albert Hieronimus, Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) President George Scalise, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) Consultant Mark Runacres and former Widia (India) Ltd Managing Director R Srinivasan were the newly inducted Directors. With the inclusion of five Directors, the number of Directors in the Board had risen to ten, according to a release here.

Commenting on the expansion, MindTree Chairman and Managing Director Ashok Soota said ''the strengthening of the Board of Directors with five distinguished personalities will help the organisation achieve greater goals. We are looking forward to their guidance in the days to come.'' In addition to the five independent Directors appointed, MindTree's Board of Directors included Walden International Chairman Lip-Bu Tan, Global Technology Ventures Chairman V G Siddhartha and Capital Group Vice-President Vivek Kalra. Messrs Ashok Soota and Subroto Bagchi would act as Executive Directors on the Board.
