Deshmukh to visit Khairlanji tomorrow

Nagpur, Nov 9 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will tomorrow visit Khairlanji in Bhandara district of Vidarbha where villagers massacred four members of a ''Dalit'' family recently.

Mr Deshmukh will arrive here tomorrow morning and then proceed to Khairlanji by helicopter, official sources said here tonight.

He will return to Nagpur in the afternoon, and later preside over a meeting of government officials to review the implementation of the farmers' relief packages announced by the Prime Minister and the State Government, sources said. Mr Deshmukh will return to Mumbai in the evening.

Planning Commission member Dr Bhalchandra Mungekar is scheduled to visit Khairlanji on Saturday, sources said.
