3002 dengue cases reported in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 9: Delhi reported 28 fresh dengue patients during the past 24 hours, taking the total number of viral disease cases to 3,002 in the national capital, officials said.

The officials said of the total number reported during the past 24 hours till 1000 hrs this morning, 1,831 were from Delhi alone.

With no dengue death reported in the same time period, the toll stands at 60.

AIIMS Medical Superintendent Dr D K Sharma said while two fresh dengue patients were admitted to the Institute in the past 24 hours, 16 were discharged.

The total number of dengue patients undergoing treatment in the hospital now stands at 59, he added.

The Central Zone, Shahdara(North) and Shahdara (South) continue to be the worst affected areas in Delhi.
