2 debt-ridden farmers commit suicide

Nasik, Nov 9 (UNI) Two debt-ridden farmers allegedlly committed suicide by hanging themselves here today.

Fifty-year-old Balu Lal Misari Mulania, resident of Patoda in Yuella taluka, had taken a loan of Rs 60,000 from a local co-operative society but failed to repay it and ended his life, police said.

Another Murali Dhar Shinde, 44, the owner of 44 acres of land, ended his life at Murambi in Igatpuri taluka as his crops were totally damaged due to torrential rain, police added.
