Udit Birla to lead Maharashtra U-17 team

Pune, Nov 8 (UNI) Udit Birla will lead the Maharashtra Under-17 team in the first two league ties against Saurashtra (December 5 to 7) and against Kerala (December 10 to 12) at Indore respectively.

Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) president Ajay Shirke announced the 14-member squad here today.

Following is the team: Udit Birla (Capt), Pratik Desai, Rohit Motwani, Gopal Gurkhude, Rahul Tripathi, Parikshit Jadhav, A Suryawanshi, Gajanan Bhosale, Vikrant Nimhan, Vishant More (wk), Malcolm Montero, Jitendra Patil, Nitesh Salekar, Ashwini Singh.

Mr Riyaz Bagwan is the manager and Mr Sham Oak the coach.
