Two blasts rock south Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 8: Militants triggered two blasts of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in south Kashmir, targeting security force vehicles today, official sources said.

Militants made an abortive bid to blow up a security force vehicle at Gopalpora Awantipora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama this morning.

However, the blast took place minutes before the vehicle passed the area, they said adding there was no report of any loss of life or damage to property.

They said another IED was detonated by militants targeting security forces at Awazgund. However, no one was injured.
