''Tall Sikh'' shot Jessica, not Manu says Jethmalani

New Delhi, Nov 8: Adding another twist to the Jessica Lal murder case, senior counsel Ram Jethmalani today claimed it was a ''tall Sikh'' who had shot model Jessica Lal, not the prime accused Manu Sharma.

Appearing on behalf of Manu Sharma, Mr Jethmalani told the division bench, comprising Justices RS Sodhi and PK Bhasin, that it was this man who shot dead Jessica Lal on the premises of Tamarind Court that day, adding he had enough evidence to prove the identity of the real killer.

He also claimed that neither Manu nor accused Tony Gill were even present at the spot that day.
