SPX makes offer for Sweden's Custos

NEW YORK, Nov 8 (Reuters) Diversified manufacturer SPX Corp. said on Wednesday that it began a tender offer to buy Sweden's Custos AB, which makes industrial pumps and plumbing products, for 5.3 million.

SPX said the acquisition would complement its own products.

Custos makes and markets products including pumps for industrial and marine markets and aerator filters and regulators for the heating and plumbing market.
