Several killed, wounded in Pakistani blast

Islamabad, Nov 8: Several people were killed and wounded when a bomb went off on a parade ground next to a Pakistani army camp in a northwestern town today, a security official said.

Details of the explosion in the town of Dargai, in North West Frontier Province, were sketchy but the official said there were casualties.

''There are some dead and wounded,'' said the security official, who declined to be identified.

Military spokesman Major-General Shaukat Sultan said there had been ''an incident'' but said he had no details.
