Repolling at one booth in Nalanda, counting tomorrow

Patna, Nov 8 (UNI) An estimated 20 per cent electorate today exercised their franchise in the repolling at a booth under Islampur assembly segment of Nalanda Parliamentary constitunecy following complaints of electoral malpractices.

State Chief Electoral Officer Sudhir Rakesh said repolling was ordered at booth number 100 under Islampur Assembly segment following complaints of irregularities during polling on November 6.

He said the repoll was held under tight security.

Mr Rakesh said counting of votes for Nalanda and Bhagalpur parliamentary constituencies would start from 0800 hours tomorrow.
