Pakistani ultras undergo medical tests
Mysore, Nov 8 (UNI) Two Pakistani terrorists, arrested by the city police after an encounter last month, were brought to the K R Hospital here for medical examination.
The ultras, Mohammad Fahad and Mohammad Ali Hussain, underwent medical test by Resident Medical Officer Dr Manoli. The extremists, lodged in Vijayanagara police station, will be produced before the court on November 10 when their police custody expired.
Talking to reporters here, ACP Krishnappa, leading the special squad investigating the case, said the medical examination was a must before sending the terrorists for narco analysis test at the Forensic Science Laboratory in Bangalore.
The terrorists would go through at least ten kinds of tests, which might take two days, he added.
Meanwhile, investigation in the case continued and police have been collecting information from various sources.
Apart from the ultras, police have arrested five people in the city and one more in Chennai, who was brought here.
The Jammu and Kashmir police were expected to arrive here any moment to investigate the terrorists, particularly Hussain, who was involved in the killing of 19 people, including three police personnel between 2004 and 2006, and 12 cases had been filed against him in Harwan police station limits in Srinagar.
