Mumbai all out for 122 vs Maharashtra

Jamshedpur, Nov 8 (UNI) A fine bowling by Maharashtra pacers rattled the Mumbai innings for 122 all out on the opening day of the three-day Cooch Behar trophy (Under-19)elite group tie at Keenan stadium here today.

Elected to bat after winning the toss Mumbai batsmen were soon in trouble before a firey pace of Srikant Mundhe and Kishore Bhikane of Maharashtra.The duo ripped through the Mumbai innings picking up 33 for 4 and 13 for 3 respectively.Harshad Khandelwale and D Aditya also scalped two and one wickets conceding 27 and 28 runs.

The domination of Maharashtra bowlers in a overcast condition was such that only four batsmen of Mumbai could reach the double figure mark. Omkar Gurav and Swapnil Kulaye down the order managed to negotiate the opposition bowlers as the former scored highest 37 and the latter 24 runs respectively.Both hit four bourndaries.

Openers Aditya Tare and Anup Revendkar scored 10 runs each.
