Mobile medical would benefit Arunachal: Pant
Itanagar, Nov 8 (UNI) A mobile medical van will be started in Arunachal Pradesh to provide medical facilities to rural people.
Eminent Radiologist Dr C S Pant, who is also ex-president All India Radiologist and Imaging Association, has recently visited the state to survey the feasibility of this van.
The facilities in the mobile van include x-ray machines, ultra sound machines, computerised lab, ECG and 20 kw generator.
Department of Science and Technology (DST) under Union Government has shown interest to start the van in the state.
Dr Pant explained that his mobile medical van is a substitute to the present medical health system.
Dr Pant informed that in Uttaranchal this mobile van has been very successful and it distribute free medicines to the people living below poverty line.
