Mercury Transit Session for students on November 9

Hyderabad, Nov 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Jawahar Bal Bhavan, in association with Planetary Society of India, would organise free 'Mercury Transit Session' for school students and teachers in the city tomorrow.

According to a press release here, Planetary Society of India General Secretary N Raghunandan Kumar said the session was organised as part of communicating Astronomy with public to create awareness among the students about the rare celestial event of Mecury transit.

The session would include audio- visual presentation, animations created on Sun, planet Mercury and other celestial bodies.
