Land dispute claims 2 lives, 6 wounded

Moradabad, Nov 8 (UNI) Two villagers were shot dead and six others wounded in a land dispute under Moodapandey police station area here today.

Reports said a 20 'bigha' land in Najarpur village was the bone of contention between two groups.

This morning, some miscreants raided the house of Ompal firing indiscriminately, resulting in the death of Giriraj and Badan Singh on the spot.

Six others were also wounded and taken to hospital.

Meanwhile, police registered a case and arrested five persons in the double murder.
