IT department raids 8 tuition centres in Surat

Surat, Nov 8 (UNI) Income Tax department here has raided around eight tuition centres and discovered unaccounted income of around Rs 10 crore, IT sources said here today.

Total 124 IT officers conducted the raid which began yesterday will be completed by late tonight, a senior IT official told UNI.

Around 32 tuition centres were on surveillence by the IT department for the last two months.

The raided tuition centres were located in Varachcha, Kapodra, Ghod Dod Road and Rander Road, the sources said.
