Handlooms festival in AP for twelve-days

Rajahmundry, Nov 8: A twelve-day long festival of crafts of North Eastern Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation (NEHHDC), a Government of India undertaking was inaugurated here today.

The festival would put up on show, the finest handicrafts and handlooms from the north eastern states, rich in content with distinct form and design. They include Bamboo crafts, Mat crafts, Wood crafts, Root sculpture, Tetiles and Jewellery.

Mr Vijay Kumar Dey, Manager, Festival said artisans from all the seven north eastern states will demonstrate their skill in person at the fair.
