Gymnastics-China names world-beating Asian Games squad

BEIJING, Nov 8 (Reuters) China, wary of tinkering with a well-oiled machine, will send its entire world champion gymnastics team bar one to next month's Doha Asian Games, the Chinese Gymnastic Association (CGA) said today.

Only Li Ya surrenders her place to teenager Han Bing, after disappointing at last month's world championships in Aarhus, Denmark, the CGA said in a statement on their Web site.

The men's team remains unchanged, with injured champions Li Xiaopeng, Huang Xu and Teng Haibin all confirmed to miss.

China steamrollered their rivals to pick up a record eight out of 14 gold medals on offer at the worlds, including both the coveted team crowns.

The 15th Asian Games open in Doha, Qatar on December 1.

Squad: Men: Yang Wei, Xiao Qin, Liang Fuliang, Chen Yibing, Feng Jing and Zou Kai, Dong Zhendong (substitute).

Women: Zhang Nan, Cheng Fei, Pang Panpan, Zhou Zhuoru, Han Bing, He Ning, Fan Ye (substitute).
