Four collegemates arrested in Law student murder

Madurai, Nov 8 (UNI) The city police today arrested four students of the Government Law College here in connection with the brutal day-light murder of their collegemate in front of the college premises yesterday.

Police said the four accused nabbed after a manhunt were, Shahul Hameed, Sasi Kumar, Tholkappiyan and Jayaprabhu.

All the four were produced before a judicial magistrate, who remanded them in custody.

The arrested and four others, a few of them with alleged RSS leanings, had stabbed to death 20-year-old N Tamilvel, a second year law student, after the close of college hours.
