Flood relief works tardy:Naidu

Hyderabad, Nov 8 (UNI) The opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today alleged that the ruling Congress was handling the flood situation in an irresponsible manner.

Talking to newspersons here after touring the worst hit Guntur, Prakasham and Krishna districts, the former Chief Minister said he had not seen a more irresponsible government than the present government.

Though it was 14 days since the floods hit these districts, no one had come to the rescue of the victims, he charged.

He said the subsidy of Rs 750 announced by the government was insufficient.
