Doctor sent to jail in rape case

Patna, Nov 8 (UNI) Chief Judicial Magistrate of Patna High court Mrs Shushama Sinha today remanded a doctor to judicial custody for being involved in a rape case.

During the day, accused Dr Dilip Kumar surrendered before the court and prayed for his judicial custody in the case. Later the court sent the doctor to jail after taking him into judicial custody till November 21.

According to the FIR, the accused, a homeopathic doctor, allegedly raped a five years old minor girl in his clinic at Nala road under Kadamkuan police station area of the state capital on November 5.
