BJP crossing limits of decency: Uma
Gwalior, Nov 8 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti Founder-President and former chief minister Uma Bharti today alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) third generation leadership had sidelined the organisation's policies for the sake of power and was crossing all limits of decency.
''The ideals and policies laid down by first-generation leaders such as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L K Advani and others are not being adopted,'' the firebrand leader told journalists here.
Accusing the ruling BJP of misusing official machinery for winning the bypolls to Vidisha parliamentary constituency and Malehra assembly constituency, she added an attempt was made on her life.
''Besides, cases of attempt to murder and looting were registered against my family. I had never imagined that the BJP could be so immoral. That party has forgotten issues such as swadeshi, Hindutva and Ram. That is why at Malehra it fielded a candidate who once gave extremely objectionable suggestions on Ram janmabhoomi,'' she said.
