50 per cent turnout in repoll in Koderma, counting tomorrow
Ranchi, Nov 8 (UNI) About 50 per cent voters today cast their ballots in repolling in two centres under Koderma Parliamentary seat, which went to byelection on November six.
The fate of altogether 14 aspirants would be known in tomorrow's counting, which would start at 0800 hrs.
No untoward incident was reported from any part of the two centres during the repoll.
Meanwhile, security was tightened in and around the strong room at Giridih district.
Despite the presence of 11 other contestants, the main fight was among Mr Manoj Yadav (Cong), Mr Pranab Verma (BJP) and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, an Independent candidate, who spared no pains to retain the seat.
