140 in fray for ranking tourney

Vijayawada, Nov 8 (UNI) The All India Ranking Tennis tournament for men and women would be held at the Cosmopolitan Club in Bhimavaram from December 9.

Tournament secretary Verma said the qualifying matches would be held for two days from the day of commencement. The main draw matches would start from December 11.

About 100 players in men's section and 40 in women's section, including some top players from different states would participate.

The total prize money for the tourney was Rs 2,25,000, he added.
