Uphaar theatre victims denied representation

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) The Uphaar Tragedy Victims' Family Association was today denied representation in a city court hearing the case.

The defense, representing the Uphaar theatre owners, questioned their locus standi in the case.

Although senior counsel KTS Tulsi's decision to appear for the victims had not been objected earlier.

The question of locus standi was raised as KTS Tulsi rose on his feet to start arguments.

KTS Tulsi submitted before the court to grant him opportunity to represent the victims. The court fixed the hearing on November 20.
