NSF sets deadline to remove NPSC Chairman
Kohima, Nov 07 (UNI) The Naga Students' Federation (NSF) expressing it's anger over the state government's failure to redress the state's Public Service Commission (NPSC) scam has demanded removal of the NPSC's chairman on or before November 12 The NSF had threatened to go for a mass agitation if the chairman is not removed immediately.
In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister yesterday, NSF president Phushika Aomi and general secretary Elu Ndang have demanded a CBI probe into the discrepancies and anomalies in the NPSC during the last 20 years, sources said.
Ponting out the errors and defects of the NPSC, the NSF alleged that the Controller of Examinations had employed some posts without sanction from either the government or the NPSC, sources said.
The NSF in it's memorandum had requested the Chief Minister to take up an immediate action against those who are involved in the scam.
