Minor administrative reshuffle in MP
Bhopal, Nov 7 (UNI) In a minor administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government today transferred a few officers of the Indian Administrative Service and modified the charges of some others, official sources said.
Principal Secretary (General Administration) Sukhiram was posted as Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission, and the Narmada Valley Development Authority's Member (Rehabilitation) Rakesh Agrawal was shifted as Managing Director, Mineral Development Corporation. He will also be ex-officio Secretary (Mineral Resoures).
Mr Sanjay Joshi, who has returned from deputation to the Centre, will take up Mr Agrawal's previous post and Divisional Commissioner (Bhopal and Hoshangabad) K K Singh was moved as Secretary (Tribal and Scheduled Castes Welfare).
Mr Singh's previous post will be assumed by Mr B R Naidu who has returned from deputation to the Centre. Mr S P S Parihar, who has returned from overseas training, was accommodated as Secretary (Public Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation).
Principal Secretary (Woman and Child Development) Prashant Mehta was bestowed additional charge of General Administration while PS (Public Health and Family Welfare, Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation) M M Upadhyay was given additional charge as Secretary (Medical Education).
State Planning Board Member Secretary Manoj Jhalani was relieved of the additional charge as MD (Mineral Development Corporation) and ex-officio Secretary (Mineral Resources) but bestowed additional charge as Secretary (School Education).
