Gurjars to agitate against massacre

Gwalior, Nov 7 (UNI) An agitation will be launched by members of Gurjar samaj on November 11 in protest of massacre of five villagers by the dreaded Dayaram Rambabu Gadaria gang yesterday.

Several national leaders from Gurjar community will take part in the agitation programme.

The programme's convenor Sahab Singh Gurjar told reporters that previously named as 'Gurjar Sammelan', the programme will take form of an agitation against repeated killings of people of Gurjar community by the Gadaria gang.

He said no concrete step was being taken despite assurances from the administration.

Mr Singh said Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia and Gurjar Samaj National President Avtar Singh Bhadana will take part in the programme besides other leaders.

He alleged that though Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Minister Rustam Singh represented the Gurjar community in the state government, he was not trying to find solution to this problem.

He said Mr Singh should resign from the government and stand beside people of his community.
