Constable guns down wife

Gulbarga, Nov 7 (UNI) A police constable of District Armed Reserve (DAR) today shot dead his wife with his service rifle, suspecting her fidelity.

Police said that constable Siddharamappa picked up a quarrel with his wife, Saibavva (40) this morning and in a fit of rage, he fired two rounds at her from his service rifle.

The couple had four children.

The constable was later arrested by the police.
