35-year old pilgrim drowned

Tirumala, Nov 7 (UNI) A 35-year-old person who had come to offer worship to Lord at Venkateswara Temple here was drowned in the temple tank today.

Police said the pilgrim was taking a bath when the mishap occurred.

The body was recovered from the tank and sent to Government Ruia Hospital at Tirupati for post-mortem.

The victim was yet to be indentifed and investigation was on, police added.
