Yediyurappa holds review meeting of BJP MLAs in K'taka

Bangalore, Nov 6 (UNI) Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader B S Yediyurappa today held a ''fruitful'' review meeting of party Legislators here and said he intended to have such meetings with JD(S) Legislators too to elicit their opinion on developmental works undertaken by the JD(S)-BJP coalition Government.

Speaking to newspersons after the meeting, he said the review meeting, in which BJP State President D V Sadananda Gowda and party Ministers participated, discussed threadbare the implementation of developmental works, programmes and schemes initiated by the coalition Government and noted the lacunae in them. Follow-up action would be initiated after holding a meeting with the officials concerned, incorporating the suggestions made by the Legislators.

To a question, Mr Yediyurappa informed that the common grievances of the Legislators related to issuance of ration cards, drought and flood relief works in their respective Assembly constitutiences.

He also held a meeeting of BJP Ministers after the MLAs' meet and reportedly discussed the Legislators' opinion on the performance of the coalition Government.
