US-based Amtex opens global development centre in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) US-based Amtex Systems today announced the opening of its global development centre, to augment its global business model of end-to-end IT consulting and services offering, currently handled from six countries including the US, Europe and India.

The centre will operate in tune with the company's existing offshore development center in largest development center in Chennai.

The facility which is fully operational, will initially employ 50 people and will it ramp up to 150 over the next two years.

''This initiative is part of our global strategy of bringing the best service to clients across the globe,'' said Amtex Systems CEO Sunny Pokala.

He added that Delhi with its well-developed ecosystem is a critical technology nexus that provides the company with a greater foothold in India.

''We are betting on our Delhi facility and presence to drive our growth into the next level and are proud to open the doors of this office with the mission of enhanced 24x7 support for our mounting client base,'' Mr Pokala said.

Offering services in the BFSI and pharmaceutical domains, Amtex Systems consults and services leading companies including Fortune 500 companies such as JP Morgan, Pfizer, Intel, IBM, Johnson&Johnson and Merrill Lynch.

It employs more than 600 IT professionals globally and has 12 offices with revenues of over 50 million dollars.
