SP condemns death penalty to Saddam

Bhopal, Nov 6 (UNI) Samajwadi Party National Secretary Sunilam today condemned the death penalty to ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

In a statement issued here, Dr Sunilam described the death penalty awarded to the deposed leader as inappropriate and demanded India's intervention in order to prevent the sentence.

He announced to organise a campaign at district and tehsil level in Madhya Pradesh tomorrow and submitting a memorandum to the Prime Minister over the issue.
